singer the band
What makes someone a fan of the band / singer?

I think everybody has his individual opinion when it comes to this issue, so what makes some fan of a band / singer for you? Do you have a fan to enjoy some of the artists / songs in a band? Do you have a proper fan an album or two? Thanks for responding.

Well, when I started listening to A7X, I thought it was just another modern band that I had nothing better to say. But then I looked at his music as a whole and not believe or how much they have to say about the world, war, and even religion and politics (although deny it.) I think being a fan of the band means that you admire as models to follow and understand what they are trying to say. to be a fan who usually can not have a couple of their songs unless you know much more, because then you can think of them:

Singer - Unhistories Singer - Unhistories
$15.18

Singer: Adam Vida, T. Albert Rittmann, Robert A.A. Lowe, Ben Vida.Unhistories is the type of album that`s easier to appreciate than to actually enjoy -- it`s easy to admire Singer`s ability to deconstruct rock music to a pulp, with atonal shards, off-time pentatonic scales, and disjointed clashing strums. Barely holding everything together is a winding falsetto harmony line veering in and out of the dissonance. There`s a certain charm to loose music, as when the bass player locks in on a guitar part and the drummer is doing his own thing, fluttering off time, while the other guitarist noodles away in a completely different world. Because the members of the band have proven track records in their endeavors, prior fans will probably defend the merit of this record faithfully. Call it no wave, call it freak funk, call it avant-garde brilliance; people who respect bands merely for their artistic sensibilities and originality will find a lot to like in Singer. ~ Jason Lymangrover Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. The Singer quickly became a favorite of evangelists, pastors, artists, students, teachers and readers of all sorts when it was originally published in 1975. Retelling the story of Christ through an allegorical and poetic narrative of a Singer whose Song could not be silenced, Miller's work reinvigorated Christian literature and offered believers and seekers the world over a deeply personal encounter with the gospel. Now available in hardcover for the first time in many years, this edition features a new cover illustration by Jerry Tiritilli to complement the classic interior illustrations by Joe DeVelasco. Miller also includes a new preface in which he reveals how he came to write The Singer and how he, like so many other readers, has been transformed by its imaginative power."The Singer is one of a handful of contemporary Christian works that will still be read a century from now." Michael Duduit, editor of Preaching"The Singer is one of those rare books that cannot have enough good said about it. It absolutely sings to us of the greatness and goodness of the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Richard Foster, author of Celebration of Discipline"The Singer is a classic." THE JAZZ SINGER, reissued here by Evidence, is a classic slice of Jefferson`s art, including some of his most memorable interpretations. Among them are his renditions of Miles Davis`s "So What," Coleman Hawkins`s "Body and Soul," and Charlie Parker`s "Now`s the Time." Jefferson is backed here by a vocal trio (they add accents and embellishments) and full band (including trumpeter Howard McGee and sax man James Moody).Jefferson`s voice is flexible, and--on cuts like his famous reading of "Moody`s Mood for Love"--he approximates the timbre changes a horn player might make by adjusting his tone while speeding through a phrase or making intervallic leaps. Jefferson`s deft facility with lyrics, and his ability to thread them rhythmically through tricky melodic lines, is consistently impressive. Many of his lyrics are about the musicians who originally recorded the compositions, so in addition to his unique talent, what comes through is Jefferson`s love for jazz and his reverence for the artists whose work he interprets. Naturally, Diamond penned the music for his version of THE JAZZ SINGER himself, and the soundtrack was a phenomenal commercial success. Three of the songs here should be instantly familiar to anyone who drew a breath in the early `80s: the tender ballad "Hello Again," the haunting, swirling "Love On the Rocks," and the swelling patriotism of "America."In between are the hand-clapping groovers "You Baby" and "Amazed and Confused," the melancholic waltz of "Summerlove," and traditional Jewish songs like "Kol Nidre." Elaborate instrumentation and arrangements (the songs are richly outfitted with strings) add to the surge and power of Diamond`s performances, and while the film itself may have faded into obscurity, the soundtrack has not. THE JAZZ SINGER remains one of Diamond`s best-loved post-`70s efforts. Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. For personal use only. All rights reserved.

Morich, Yoav Steven Paskowitz, David Teisher (background vocals); The London Symphony Orchestra, The National Philharmonic Orchestra.Originally released on Capitol (46026).Neil Diamond`s revisiting of the 1927 Al Jolson classic THE JAZZ SINGER (the first film to feature synchronized sound) keeps to the story of the original film; a young Jewish man turns his back on his heritage in an attempt to make it big in show business.
