Sunday, September 13th – Toronto, Canada – One of the many places and after hot party for the 2009 International Film Festival Toronto (and meeting places great celeb sighting) is the Drake on Queen Street West in downtown Toronto.

On Sunday night, was taking $ 11 Martini was Tony-winning actor Canadian writer and filmmaker Don McKellar and his girlfriend of actress Tracy Wright. The bed in the sky coldly Drake's Yard was apparently stolen by fellow model Canadian underwear, Essy, when McKellar and Wright got up to take photos of the skyscrapers of the city.

McKellar, a resident of Toronto, is proud to be part of TIFF 2009 and stars in Leslie, My Name is Evil and a kitchen with Stella that are recommended in the festival this year, along with its debut at the facility for future projections of imaginary lovers. It also announced on Wednesday that McKellar would be part of the quartet of mentors, or "governors" at TIFF 2009, to share their advice and expertise with emerging young filmmakers at TIFF Talent Lab.

Sources said TOI that the McKellar and Wright, later joined Essy to enjoy the view.

The Toronto International Film Festival is not only a chance for fans to the cinema to see the latest independent films and the paparazzi can take pictures of hot celebrities, but also a fabulous opportunity for the native of Toronto, as Essy and McKellar, spending time at home. McKellar said of himself "I'm an uptight Canadian white guy," why continue to live in Toronto, "I have problems personal space and dirt. "

Hearing McKellar, the former Calvin Klein model laughed. "I understand perfectly what it means," said Essy. "I return home to Toronto any chance you can," he continued, "I think I'm too tense for Manhattan anyway. Perhaps New York, I too reminiscent of the films of Woody Allen, "Essy he joked.

Rumors suggest that the TOI and McKellar Essy met to talk about his appearance in an upcoming draft him, but any comments from any of its management has suggested that he plans to take a break from modeling for action.

Using the tale of Little Red Riding Hood as an example, Molly Bang uses boldly graphic artwork to explain how images--and their individual components--work to tell a story that engages the emotions: Why are diagonals dramatic? In the spring of 1950, when New Yorker staff writer Lillian Ross heard that John Huston was planning to make a film of Stephen Crane's The Red Badge of Courage, she decided she would follow the movie's progress "in order to learn whatever I might learn about the American motion-picture industry." What resulted was Picture, which Newsweek has called "the best book on Hollywood ever published." Picture received raves from the worlds of film and literature in equal measure for its unforgettable portrait of the language, the ways, and the preoccupations of Hollywood: Charlie Chaplin called Picture "brilliant and sagacious" and legendary editor William Shawn termed it "the definitive book on the Hollywood community." Little wonder, then, that when the Top 100 Works of U.S. Journalism of the Twentieth Century were chosen by the New York University Department of Journalism and a distinguished panel that included David Brinkley, Pete Hamill, Jeff Greenfield, Mary McGrory, and Morley Safer, Picture had an honored place on that list.

Picture books provide an extraordinary opportunity to combine illustration and thoroughly researched text to introduce topics in the arts, health, literature, mathematics, science, and social science content areas. They can be used together with companion titles or as springboards to stimulate student interest. No longer just for children, picture books have matured in the last decade to become a format for all ages. The recommended fiction and nonfiction titles in this resource have been carefully selected as appropriate for older readers because of their sophisticated content. Almost all have been published in the late 1980s through 1996. For ease of use by the teacher or young adult librarian, the bibliography is arranged into six content areas: the arts, health, literature and language, mathematics, science and nature, and social studies and history. Within each content area entries are organized alphabetically by author. Each annotation includes the book's content, subject breakdown, artistic style and medium, suggested companion titles, and ideas for use in the classroom. Annotations are numbered for ease of use and indexed by subject, author, and illustrator. Appendixes include a glossary of terms used to describe picture books, a checklist to guide teachers and students when using picture books, and a list of professional sources that will assist teachers in exploring the picture book format. This easy-to-use guide is an indispensable resource for teachers and librarians seeking to motivate students and stimulate their interest.

From George Hickenlooper (Hearts Of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse about the making of Apocalypse Now) comes this award-winning documentary about the making of another '70s classic The Last Picture Show--director Peter Bogdanovich's masterpiece--a film that ultimately turned the lives of those involved upside down. Picture This follows Bogdanovich to Texas where he candidly reflects on the demise of his marriage, his affair with actress Cybill Shepherd, the murder of his girlfriend Dorothy Stratten, his collaboration with Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist Larry McMurtry, the making of the disastrous sequel Texasville, the bitter controversy surrounding the making of both films in McMurtry's hometown, and the personal traumas suffered by the cast: crises which bore an uncanny resemblance to the characters they portrayed. Picture This both humorously and provocatively deconstructs the layers of fiction and reality that went into the turbulent making of Bogdanovich's triumphant work acclaimed as the greatest film since Citizen Kane.

The songs on PICTURE THIS, his third album, have the simple, memorable melodies and easy catchiness of pop music, but also a potent sense of emotion and intimacy. Country singer Martina McBride joins Brickman on "Valentine," which features the utterly unpretentious and unapologetically romantic lyrics, "Even if the sun refused to shine/Even if romance ran out of rhyme/You would still have my heart until the end of time."Overall, PICTURE THIS is a move toward a renewed optimism and openness for Brickman, who in the past has delved into a sense of deep melancholy to create his touching compositions. There is still a hint of this moodiness here, particularly on "Edgewater," which haunts the listener with its note of bittersweet nostalgia and its delicate oboe harmony.

Tipper Gore has been a passionate photographer for many years, but when her husband was elected Vice President of the United States, she began taking morepictures than ever before. Now, in this beautiful and very personal book, Mrs. Gore uses both words and photographs to give us an intimate view of her new life at home, her work as a member of the current administration, and her travels around the world. In a lively introductory chapter, Mrs. Gore offers a wonderfully candid self-portrait. She tells the story of how she became a photographer--receiving her first camera as a gift from her husband, Al, working as a photojournalist for The Tennessean, and gradually discovering that she expresses herself best through the images she captures on film. She writes about the causes that she has cared about most, especially those involving the mentally ill and the homeless. And, with surprising frankness, she describes how being part of a presidential administration has affected her children, her marriage, and her daily life. The centerpiece of Picture This is an inspired collection of more than 120 of her recent photographs, both color and black and white. Mrs. Gore has anunusual gift for catching people at their most natural--witness her photographs of the President and Vice President at work, of men and women from a richdiversity of cultures, and of her husband and children during private moments. She has a keen eye for pictures that tell dramatic stories, as illustrated by her eloquent photographs of starving children in Rwanda and homeless people in America. This fascinating visual diary of Tipper Gore's past four years is remarkable for its freshness, its candor, and its spirit. As warm and appealing as the author herself, Picture This provides a revealing look into the private world of a much admired public woman.
