Is it illegal to use celebrity photos/pictures on your website?

I have an online shop and i use celebrity photos with my products, for example a hair accessories as seen on such a celebrity, i show the product with the celeb wearing it.
I would hate to be sued or have my website shut down as i am just a small little business.
I know that ASOS.com use celeb photos but they have a little caption at the bottom of their site ‘THE CELEBRITIES NAMED OR FEATURED ON ASOS.COM HAVE NOT ENDORSED,
RECOMMENDED OR APPROVED ANY OF THE ITEMS OFFERED ON SITE’. If i put something like that, does it make it ok?

Yes…you can get into trouble. People copyright their images so that photog’s can’t bank off of their face. You have to get written permission from the celebrity in order to do this or even use their name. Sorry…but that’s just dangerous territory there.
