How can I find baseball memorabilia collectors or auction houses in Japan?
I'm helping someone find a buyer in Japan for a 1922 amendment to Babe Ruth's Yankee Contract signed by Babe Ruth. After Babe Ruth started drinking too much and womanizing and showing too late to practice the owners amended his contract to say that if they do not behave better to be thrown off the team. The man who is in possession of this contract only asked me to help find a buyer in Japan. He opposed the sale on ebay or the U.S. is very specific and want to sell in Japan. By Please help. He will give me a lot of money if I can help find a buyer because it could be worth upward of $ 250,000.
I wish could say they knew someone personally, but I do not. My best guess is to contact the baseball columnist for The Japan Times, Wayne Graczyk. He has written the book, "Japan Pro Baseball Fan Handbook and Media Guide "and is a member of the Club of reporters in Tokyo and the Association of Foreign chroniclers of Japan. Your e-mail Wayne@JapanBall.com is perhaps noteworthy that other organizations, etc. Good luck!
