auction collectibles
What’s the best alternative to Ebay for Antiques, Collectibles, Coins, etc?

We’re a consignment shop in Minneapolis, Minnesota specializing in gold, silver, antiques, & higher end collectibles. We have done great on Ebay auctions, but need a new place to sell, just like everyone else… but where?

Having been in this industry my entire life, some of the best places you can do business at for retail are to attend trade shows, advertise in Coin World Magazine, get involved with ANA, join wholesale networks Coinnet and Certified Coin Exchange. You may also want to partner with the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and the Numismatic Guarantee Corporation (NGC) with help in grading and certifying Numismatic grade coins. One of the best wholesales to do business with is Chucks Coin in California.

Whee-oo! When Aunt Lou hears there's a county auction coming up, she can't contain her excitement (as her young niece observes). But when she and the family arrive at the auction site, Aunt Lou comes face to face with her long-standing rival, Miss Logsdon. One look makes clear that these ladies can't stand to lose toe each other, even when bidding on such dubious treasures as old china, a stuffed groundhog, or a zinc tub. Aunt Lou's niece has her eye on a straw hat--the spitting image of Daddy's--which fits her better than her own hair. But can anyone outbid Aunt Lou and Miss Logsdon when they get going?

Advice from those who claim to understand the human mind, sounded simple to an impressionable student Sandra Marlowe: If love, success and peer admiration be you goals, then you must go forth in life and never look back. Sandra followed closely their counsel. Having gained all the above, she nearly lost everything while performing an act of kindness. She realized the self-appointed gurus giving out such advice were cynics who never experienced the sweet pain of first love. Her past had more to do with molding of character, attaining recognition as a top-notch newscaster, and keeping friends. On the night of the station sponsored charity auction, Sandra learned that life seldom followed preset rules. What happened as the auctioneer's gavel finalized the bid not only caused her to strengthen her resolve to be the best, but to give in to a human phenomenon called, love.
